If you are interested in finding a Shih Tzu puppy, please see the list of breeders on the facing page. We also provide announcements of puppy, litter news and available adult Shih Tzu above and on our 'Adoptions & Rescue' webpage as well. While our STCSEW breeder members are hobby breeders, do not sell 25 or more dogs a year to require 'breeder licenses' as per Act 90 currently in effect in the State of Wisconsin, our members do support that all puppies and adults are seen by a veterinarian before a sale is finalized and a veterinary statement is supplied to new owners.
The STCSEW offers local and member Shih Tzu Breeder Referral information. The Shih Tzu breeders that we refer to are members of the STCSEW and/or the American Shih Tzu Club. Members of either of these organizations must sign a "Code of Ethics" upon being accepted into membership.
STCSEW Code of Ethics
•To support STCSEW at all times.
•All Club problems, whether individual or otherwise, are to be kept within the Club and not to be published or discussed elsewhere.
•To support at all times the Shih Tzu Standard approved by the American Kennel Club and the American Shih Tzu Club, Inc.
•To be completely truthful in all advertising and direct communication with the public.
